STHLM Urban Trail 2020 is cancelled
A unique running experience
STHLM Urban Trail is a running event, but not quite as you know it. The race revolves around a unique running experience, discovering places and buildings you’ve never visited before. Read more about the buildings you’ll be running through below!
The Medieval Museum
The course of STHLM Urban Trail will take you inside the Medieval Museum in Stockholm – where history comes alive again!
The museum is built around the findings from a major archaeological investigation during the 1970s, the largest excavation in Stockholm. The underground exhibition features 55 meters of the original 16th century town wall, a medieval graveyard and a war ship. Meet the people and hear stories from the everyday life, explore reconstructed brick buildings, warehouses and workshops.
A visit to the museum you don’t want to miss!
The Nobel Prize Museum
Nobel Prize Museum is the Nobel Prize’s own museum, located in the beautiful former Stock Exchange Building at Stortorget in Stockholm Old Town. Here you find donated private objects from Nobel Prize Laureates, films and thematic exhibitions about the laureate’s contributions and discoveries. The inventor and social entrepreneur Alfred Nobel, the famous founder of the Nobel Prize, is presented through travel guides, handwritten letters and a death mask. Here you’ll meet freedom fighters, writers and scientists who all contributed to the benefit to humankind.
Welcome to explore the Nobel Prize!
